Leighton's Interdependence Day Party - Event Date: July 03 2010 - July 04 2010

"Interdependence Day" is my own addition to Independence Day to remind us that we need both to be great. The pulling together of the people of the Gulf with the thousands of solutions to the spill suggested by people all over the country are recent example of the spirit we are celebrating here. Come hug five people you didn't know before and dance your heart out. 

Starts at 9:00 PM on the Saturday the 3rd, the day BEFORE July forth. NOT at my home this year. It will be at Ruta Maya as they have more dance floor, better acoustics, you can wear your shoes, tables to sit, etc. 

Directions: 3601 South Congress Avenue: Proceed north from Ben White on Congress .9 miles and take a right on Alpine Road (adjacent to Expose Gentleman's Club). Go up the hill and Ruta Maya International Headquarters will be on the left.( It is also near Opal Devine's )

will be playing oldies rock and roll for your dancing and listening pleasure starting @ 9:30 P. M. ending at 1:30 A.M. Rand McCullough wrote a song about last years party when it was still at my house:
